files - a file maintained on your server that collects
information on every visit to your Web site. Using log file
analysis software, you can determine a variety of different
information about your visitors.

so the more links you can obtain, the better. You should avoid
low quality links from places such as Free For All (FFA) pages
and link farms.

and the higher your rankings.
